Chapter Chat Week 5 Term 3

This week I decided to do 2 tasks because I finished my first one earlier. I did the vocab challenge because I didn't know what most of the words meant. I did them on a slide of flashcards. I am enjoying the book so far because it is so interesting and exciting and I think that the mountain that Zero and Stanley are climbing is the mountain that has the river flowing upwards witch is the mountain that Madam Zeroni told Stanley's no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather to carry her up the mountain. I also think that Maden Zeroni is either Zero's Aunt, Grandmother or Mom. I have a feeling that Zero will die soon. Here is my Task. VOCAB CHALLENGE!!!

Chapter Chat week 5 term 3

This week I did digital design. For the digital design, I had to do a text message of two boys from Camp Green Lake talking to each other. I did Zero and Stanley talking to each other about Stanley teaching Zero and Zero digging his hole.

Chapter Chat week 4 term 3

This week Alyssa and I worked together to make Stanley Yelnats Dairy. We wrote things that we would have imagined in Camp Green Lake. We soaked up some of the pages with tea and the effect at the end looked so cool. We worked so hard on it.

Chapter Chat week 3 term 3 task 2

This week I decided to do 2 tasks since I liked both of them and I finished my first task early. I made a family tree of my own. It is a little bit different compared to the others but that's ok because everyone is unique in their own way. I drew a lot of detail into this and it took me 2 days.

This week for my Chapter Chat I did an acrostic poem with the letters CAMP GREEN LAKE!!! I added a lot of detail to it and I wrote down words that I would describe CAMP GREEN LAKE with. I used different fonts that I learned in my workshop. Here is my Acrostic poem.

Term 3 Chapter Chat week 2

This week for Chapter Chat I made a poster of what I want to be when I am older. In our book HOLES that we are reading Mr.Pendancekey asks Stanley Yelnats what he wants to do when he is older ad he said digging HOLES when I get older I want to be a Teacher and a Mum because I want to grow a family and get money for them so they can live. I researched some facts about being a mum and a teacher so I know a little bit about being a Mum and a Teacher.

Term 3 Chapter chat week 1

This term we are reading a book named HOLES and so far it is amazing. It is about a boy who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and had a choice of going to JAIL or to CAMP GREEN LAKE. All of you would say CAMP GREEN LAKE because it sounds nice with the nice lakes and green land but no you are wrong CAMP GREEN LAKE is miserable and I mean miserable and you will see why when you read HOLES!!!

This week for my chapter chat I made a sign of what I would say when you entered CAMP GREEN LAKE. I thought that the sign would look terrible since the CAMP is terrible. he winning sign gets to be put on display, I hope mine will win because I put a lot of effort and detail into it.
