Grace's Creativity task!!!

 This is my pool that I made for my week 8 Creativity task 2018 year 5 Whetu.
I made it out of a card board box, plastic container, hot glue and some blue water.
I shared it to my whole homeroom. The whole of whetu had 5 slides that they had to choose from and I chose the creativity task because I like creating stuff.
For the creativity task we had to make a miniature model of what our Favourite thing in Whetu was.
My Favourite thing in Whetu was going swimming so I made a miniature model of the Ngatea swimming pool.

On Monday 5th October 2018 PS had Athletics on the domain. Everybody is in a house team (Patiki,Weka,Orewa,Kapui) I am in Patiki witch is yellow. We each went in our age groups to every event, and I was 10 so I went with the 10 year olds to every event.

Term 3 blog reflection

I had fun in term three.It was my fist time in Ngatea Primary School and I made lots of friends but a few kids were being mean to me.I learnt a lot of new things that I did't know before and it was a good Experience.

I was in WHETU witch is the year 5 and 6. I learnt Math, Literacy, and way more. I like WHETU because we get to play in the 2nd block. At the end of the term we usually go out in the mapson maze  witch is outside our Sinderkit and then we cook something with all our frineds.

Chapter chat refletion

Throughout the book it has been very Interesting to know what they did and how they lived in the 1800's and 1900's. At the begging of the book it was happy and funny because the Ingalls family built a new home and well on a beautiful piece of the land that they had found witch they thought was the Indian land but it was the Indian territory, but at the end the Ingalls family had to move away because they found out that they were in Indian territory when they were supposed to be n the Indians land, they were sad to have to leave their house in the Indian territory.

 

Current Events

         White Ferns break world record!!

The New Zealand Women’s Cricket Team ( the White Ferns ),have broken the world scoring record for a women’s One Day International in 2018. Suzie Bates ( the Captain of the white ferns ) and Maddy green ( a famous cricket player )both struck centuries in huge total. Suzie Bates hit tow sixes and 24 boundaries to score 151 runs from 96 balls, while Maddy  Green scored 121 runs with one six and 15 boundaries.

Spring is a lovely season because the flowers bloom and you can take photos of the flowers while there blooming,They look so beautiful when there blooming because all there colours stand out and it smells beautiful .Whats your favourite season? Mine is SPRING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spring has Sprung means that it suddenly stops snowing and it gets warmer the grass gets greener the trees are blossoming and everything has a new life in the warm and nice weather that smells beautiful.I love SPRING!!!!!!!

Cross Country!!!

On Monday N.P.S did Cross County on a farm called south farms. Everyone was so EXITED but was a bit NERVOUS.
